Congratulations to:
Ruby Yang and Thomas Lennon for their film, BLOOD OF THE YINGZHOU DISTRICT, being recognized on the short list for the 2006 Academy Awards Doc-Shorts!
2006 SILVERDOCS award-winner, Arunas Matelis (BEFORE FLYING BACK TO THE EARTH), for being nominated by the DGA for outstanding directorial achievement in documentary.
HEART OF THE GAME written by Ward Serrill and ONCE IN A LIFETIME: THE EXTRAORDINARY STORY OF THE NEW YORK COSMOS, story by Mark Monroe and John Dower, screenplay by Mark Monroe were both selected as finalists for the Writer's Guild of America Documentary Screenplay Award.

Get involved in the pre-eminent US Documentary Festival!
SILVERDOCS is recruiting interns to work in marketing, programming and video production. We're looking for energetic, organized people with excellent communication skills who are willing to commit 10 hours per week. Internships are unpaid, but school credit is available.
SILVERDOCS also needs volunteers to screen and review submissions.
Potential Screeners should have a critical eye and knowledge of film, and be able to write articulate and concise evaluations of the films they review. Screeners must live in the DC area.
