A reader writes: "I am thinking of purchasing a laptop computer for a home recording studio. What would you recommend for processor speed and the amount of system memory? Also, do any laptop manufacturers make 24-bit audio chips? I know there are external cards available from Creative and M-Audio, but they are bulky and expensive."
