    Victor Juhasz

Singh Wins at Kapalua
Vijay Singh won just once in 2006, but his form in the first week of 2007 looked more like his vintage nine-win 2004 season. With a 3-under-par 70 on Sunday, Singh completed a two-stroke victory over Adam Scott in the Mercedes-Benz Championship for his 30th career PGA Tour win.

  • An instruction tip from GOLF MAGAZINE's Top 100 Teachers:

    Release Key

A good release boosts power and helps square the clubface. Take your favorite fairway wood and stick a tee in the butt of the grip. Tee up five balls and hit them with half swings, stopping with your hands at hip height in the follow-through. The tee should point at your belt buckle, ensuring that your forearms released the club. If the tee points off your left side, you didn't release. Focus on rotating your arms through impact as you work up to full swings.
