Quick and easy to assemble, these are great served plain along side hot soup, chili or simply as a flavorful quick bread with dinner. But don't stop there, they also make great appetizers when you serve them with pizza sauce for dipping.

Cheese Roll-Ups

1 (10-ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough
4 ounces (1 cup) LAND O LAKES® Cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Press dough to 12x8-inch rectangle on lightly floured surface. Sprinkle cheese over crust to within 1/2-inch of edge. Roll up dough, starting with long edge. Pinch edges to seal.
  2. Cut roll into 1-inch pieces with sharp knife. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased nonstick baking sheet. Bake for 13 to 16 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 12 roll-ups.

VARIATIONS:

  • Italian-flavored Roll-ups: Prepare dough as directed above. Sprinkle dough with 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning before adding cheese.
  • Taco-flavored Roll-ups: Prepare dough as directed above. Sprinkle dough with 4 teaspoons taco seasoning before adding cheese. Continue as directed above.

TIP: If you do not have a nonstick baking sheet, use a regular aluminum baking sheet. Grease baking sheet well and remove roll-ups immediately after baking to prevent sticking. Increase baking time by 2 minutes.
