Special Announcement:

Merry, Merry Christmas!

It's time for everyone, including the team at Scrapper's Guide, to take some time off and enjoy friends, family and good food this holiday season. That's why I've decided to recycle an old favorite web tutorial that always generates a lot of fun and participation: my Christmas Ornament tutorial.

I'll leave the tutorial up through the first week in January. January has 5 Mondays, so it actually works out fine to not have anything new on January 1 when everyone should be enjoying family time and making New Year's resolutions to get more scrapbooking done!

You'll find the Christmas Ornament tutorial in the Digital Scrapper Forum.

Post Your Ornament!

We'd love to see your ornaments in the December 18 WBWT gallery! Please upload a BEFORE and AFTER for each post so we can see the picture from which you made the ornament, and then the ornament itself.

See Priss's fantastic ornament for an example of how to upload. Here's the link to her ornament.

Miss PepperWinning Post

I'd like to congratulate all of you who posted in the Gallery for such fine work with the Transforming Shadows technique. As usual, I had a hard time picking out a winner, but I'd like to congratulate MISS PEPPER for her lovely snow globe shadow! She did a very nice job on the shadow AND the page!

Also, check out these other great examples of a transformed shadow well done!

Snow Globe Tutorial

There's been a lot of interest in the Forum on learning how to create a snow globe. I taught how to do that in last December's Digital Scrapper Premier, which is my paid subscription newsletter.

We intend to put all the past Premier issues in our shopping cart as soon as our new cart is finished, but I've asked Charlie (my dear hubby and web master) to get the Snow Globe up before then so you can enjoy it right away. I'll send out an email as soon as it's available!

Love and scrapbooking success,

Linda
