Topic: What sticks? Praise or Criticism

Recently, I conducted a complimentary WT LOSS
tel-class and invited a lady who has lost 85 pounds to come
on and share her unique energy techniques and guide volunteers
through the process.

The next day, I received many letters telling me "Thanks"
and praising the call.

One person,however, took the time to send me a
bullet-ed list informing me
all the ways my teleclass was NOT professional.

(OK, I did make a few boo boo's)

So which letter do you think stuck in my head?

Well, I was a little ticked at the criticism at first ...
(gee, the call was no cost and nobody was forced to come
or buy anything )
however, my feelings really got me thinking.

Why do we let the criticism "stick" while we let the praise
just roll off our back?

So many of us can remember our parents criticizing us and
hardly remember any words of praise at all.

IT is just human nature to focus on our own hurt feelings
when we get criticized and dismiss the positive.

Ever notice that little critical voice just won't shut up?

Well, dear friends, I propose a new revolution...
Beginning with a very large dose of
Divine Forgiveness to those
who criticize us.
(Most of the time they really do mean well)

Let's put the shoe on the other foot for a moment
and see who we perhaps have been criticizing and
perhaps ask forgiveness.

Why not make it a point to focus on the words of praise we
receive rather than the negative?

What we focus on multiplies.

Oh, and if you are wondering how you can start
generating more words
of praise for yourself...that is easy.

GIVE WORDS OF PRAISE TO OTHERS.

Let it be a game if you are not accustomed to it.

I have the most fun praising the grocery sackers at my
local market...they just love it.

So, what do you say folks...
Let's start a "praise revolution"

Who can you "talk sweet' to today?

Here is a list of uplifting phrases if you need a little help.

"Oh, you do that so well"

"I can tell you have a lot of experience in this"

"You know, for a newbie, you sure are great at that"

"Your smile lights up the room"

"You are so kind"

'I am so lucky to know someone like you"

To store clerks:
"May all your customers be sweet to you today"

"Oh, I hope you sell a whole lot today"

More?

"You look outstanding in that color"

"How has your day been going so far"?

Keep in mind there is the Divine within us all and we are
lovely humans.

For this Christmas season, I wish you love, joy, peace
and the realization that you have the power to transform any part
of your life you choose,
