Submit Your Item For Appraisal Now
Hi Raquelle ,
Welcome to our Holiday Newsletter
This year we have decided that rather than the regular holiday promotions that everyone seems to be pushing, we would simply put together a group of nice free (that's the keyword) gifts for all of our members.(now over 110,000!) This is our way of saying thanks to everyone for the continued support through the years.
We also contacted a few of our industry partners to see if they wanted to offer our users something as well. The only caveat we had for them was that it had to be absolutely free (no strings attached) and only available to WIW2U members. Here is what we came up with for you.
1. Our good friends at TIAS.com are offering a free listing in their classified ads(normally $25.00). This can be a For Sale listing or a Wanted to Buy listing. Your ad will not only show up on their website, but will also be included in their newsletter which currently goes out to over 190,000 subscribers.
Here's how to do it- Go to http://www.tias.com/classifieds. Click the Submit Ad button and go through the registration process with them. When you have your ad input and ready to go, enter the coupon code-- WIW2U -- when prompted at checkout, and the ad is free. The coupon must be used before January 1, 2007, but you can schedule your ad to run at any time you want. 2. From AntiqueWeek Publications, get 8 issues delivered to your door for free. AntiqueWeek has been publishing since 1968 and has the largest circulation of any antiques and collectibles publication in the United States. It is chocked full of great info. We just received a bunch of copies here in the office and they really do put together quite an impressive publication.Scout the country's auctions, antique shows and events for the items you are searching for. Learn about history of those items you are keeping in your attic. Be informed and share the information with others.
Here's how to get them- Go to http://www.antiqueweek.com/wiw2u.asp and fill out the form. It's as easy as that!
3. A&E's The History Channel Club will send you a free magazine, and a free Guide to Historic America. The History Channel Magazine offers thought-provoking insights into the significant events that helped shape America's rich past.
How to get them- Go to http://visitors.thehistorychannelclub.com/?promotion=9I03WW2U&siteid=002 and fill out the form. Simple as can be!
4. Take a free online course from AntiqueTutorials.com about Civil War Antiques. Find out everything you've ever wanted to know (and more) about the field of Civil War memorabilia.Put together by one of the nation's top Experts in Civil War artifacts, you are sure to enjoy learning online from Will Gorges.
How to take the free course- Simply go to http://www.antiquetutorials.com, click the Civil War Course and then add it to your cart. Although you will see that the price of the course is $0, you have to go through the motions of carrying it through the checkout process and then it will automatically be added to your account. Don't worry; you don't have to put in any sort of payment info. You will have to register with them though.
5. Now from us! We are offering two free services for the next month. The first one is free access to our appraisal archive (Unlock the Database) so that you can search through it and see if we have some items similar to ones that you may want to find out info on. It's a ton of fun too. We were just playing around with it the other day and put in the keywords Al Capone to see what comes up. You would be surprised what some people have from Al Capone and what they are worth. The second free service is an absolutely free 30 day For Sale listing in our online marketplace, The Security Exchange. If you have an item that you want to sell, now is the time.
To take advantage of either of these two offers (or both) just login to our site http://www.wiw2u.com and look for the appropritate Service.
Raquelle , have a great Christmas, Hanukahh, Kwanzaa or whatever it is that you celebrate. We do hope you enjoy our gift package that we have put together for you.
From all of the appraisers, staff, partners, and affiliates of Whatsitworthtoyou.com.
