Greetings All,
I just ordered a 4' white, fiber optic Christmas tree from KMart (aka
KaMe-apART) online. Remember the old aluminum trees (the good
vintage ones are $600 now!)? This Kmart tree reminded me of those
old trees from my childhood. Let's just hope it arrives before
Christmas. I don't have any lights up either. I love looking
at them but can't figure out how they work. Okay, I know how
they work, but do I have to run an extension cord out of my front
door? If so, how do I keep out drafts and burglars? How do I keep
the lights attached to the house or tree? And most importantly, can
all this be accomplished in 15 minutes? Oooh, where do those cool
light balls come from? You know, the ones in the yards on
Friendly. I love those. And how do those work? I am
mystified by the electronics of Christmas. I hope my tree comes
with good directions.

Saturday, December 16, 11:00am – 6:00pm - Tarot Readings
with Maricarmen. Maricarmen has been on the Enlightenment path
for seven years, developing her intuition and learning ways to lift the
spirit. She was introduced to Tarot as a child and has been reading for
others for three years. Having experienced several unpleasant readings
herself has encouraged her to combine her counselor training with her
psychic gift. Using the Robin Wood or the Morgan Greer Tarot decks she
will assist you in changing negative and uncertain situations into happy,
positive experiences. Also a Reiki Master energy worker, she can link
both her reading and healing talents; her goal is to bring you clarity,
comfort, peace and understanding, based on the information you receive
through her readings, to help you be prepared to handle a situation.
Reiki is a natural and safe method of spiritual healing. Please inform
Maricarmen if you would like to link both practices. Readings are $15 for

Saturday, December 16, 12:00pm – 6:00pm – Create Your Own
Earrings. Opal Moon artist Tamara Brown will assist you in
choosing the right stones for the perfect pair of earrings for you or
someone special. Tamara will have a large collection of gemstone
beads to which she will add her own sterling silver trimmings and flair.
Earrings made while you wait! If you have other projects for Tam,
she can take them and do them later. Today will be just for making
earrings. (Prices vary.)
Saturday, December 16, 1:00 – 3:00pm – Tarot For Beginners, Class #1.
This workshop is for those who would like to use the tarot as a
divination tool to read for themselves or others. This workshop will
provide practical and clear information about the tarot, its structure
and basic meanings of the cards. We will review how to store and care for
your cards, best ways to prepare for a reading and several basic layouts.
It is the goal of this workshop to help you develop a personal
relationship with the cards adding your own layers of meanings to the
standard interpretations, so plan on getting in touch with your intuitive
side. Requirements: a 1" or larger binder with loose leaf paper,
writing instruments, and a tarot deck based on the Rider-Waite deck.
Check with instructor before class if you have a question about your
deck. Recommended reading: "Tarot Plain & Simple." This is
a ten week class, divided into two parts. Part I, dealing mainly
with the Major Arcana and the Fool's Journey and Part II, dealing with
the four different suites, their elements and basic numerology. The
total cost of the ten week class is $150.00, which can either be paid all
at once or split up and paid at the time of reservation and then at the
beginning of 2nd 5 week period. There is a 4 person minimum for
this class to take place. Class will meet once a week for two
hours. Workshop led by Lee Ann Donaldson.
Saturday, December 16, 3:00 – 5:00pm – Monthly Reiki Healing
Circle. Open to non-Reiki and Reiki practitioners of all levels.
Everyone is welcome to come and experience this fun, casual, and relaxing
healing circle where everyone treats and is treated. Experience the
positive healing energy that comes from good intentions. Led by two Reiki
masters, this is a great opportunity to be treated, learn about Reiki and
energy healing, and to have a chance to practice your skills. Please be
courteous to those receiving healing and refrain from wearing perfumes,
colognes, or strong-smelling essential oils to this event. Walk-ins
welcome; however space is limited to 22 people. We look

Saturday, December 16, 3:00pm – 6:00pm - Candle Magick Workshop.
You can make candle magick complicated, if you like- but why? True,
there are many factors that can play into the art of candle magick but
spells don't have to be complex or difficult to be effective. In
fact, the simplest spells are usually the most effective. One of the
simplest of magickal arts is candle magick. It is simple because it
employs little ritual and few ceremonial artifacts. To begin with
all you really need is a single candle, matches and your own personal
power. In this workshop we will go over a few basic things you'll
need to know when using candle magick, as well as ways to enhance your
candle magick in the future. The first part of the class will be
instructional and the second part will be actual spell casting with
candles. Materials will be provided by instructor (accept for
writing material if you plan on taking notes). The cost of this
three hour workshop is $20.00. Sign up in advance, as there will
have to be at least four people attending in order for the workshop to
take place. Workshop will be lead by Lee Ann Donaldson.
Sunday, December 17, 1:00pm - 5:00pm – Intuitive Readings by
Laurie. Laurie came into this world a mystic and has spent her
