2006 LA Auto Show Photo Gallery

Which is best the BMW 335, the Infiniti G35, or the Lexus IS350? Only time will tell as this battle is only starting to to get underway.
  • Toyota's noted for turning everything they touch in to gold. Now they have leveled their sights on the US truck market. But have they underestimated the intensely loyal US truck buyer? The latest JD Power survey on truck buyers indicates they would rather fight than switch. Toyota fans praise the latest Tundra entry, while quite a few of you still are on the fence.
  • Two things are certain, the timeless Hatfield's and McCoy's feud will never end, and the Hybrid vs. Diesel battle appears destine to go down in the annals in the same way. This time squaring off in the corners are, the BMW X3 Diesel Vs. the Lexus RX0400H. Will there ever be a clear cut winner? We doubt it.
  • BMW has the "M", Mercedes Benz has AMG, and even Audi has the "S" and "RS". Lexus finally has announced it is ready to do proper battle with these steroid induced sports sedans. First announced as the "L" series, Lexus has shifted gears alphabetically and chosen "F" as it's performance moniker. Sources indicate that the "L" was tarnished by the previous non-performance heritage, and that "F" would distance them as they take on the world fastest sedans.
  • Lexus testing in Germany? And at Nurburgring no less. That is a departure from the norm for secretive Lexus. Spy video footage showed the upcoming IS500 rapidly chewing up the asphalt on the punishing circuit. Was this a prelude to the new "F" series? We guess when in Rome do as the Romans. So when in Germany you better test with the rest. We wonder was anyone there with a stop watch?
  • Who makes the best engine for 2007? Ward's released the annual awards list for cars priced less than the medium ($54K). While there were a few repeat winners, many of you had other opinions on who was worthy for the list. Wet think it is about time for Ward's to name the top ten engine regardless of price. Let the chips fall were they may then.
