U.S. Figure Skating Event Webcasts Now Available
(11/14/2006) - U.S. Figure Skating will webcast all 2006-2007 U.S. qualifying competitions from the juvenile level through adult, with the exception of the 2007 State Farm U.S. Figure Skating Championships, via a media player accessed through U.S. Figure Skating Online or directly at www.icenetwork.com. Six of the nine U.S. Figure Skating regional championships are now available for viewing.

Kwan Named America's First Public Diplomacy Envoy
(11/9/06) - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice introduced five-time World champion Michelle Kwan as America's first public diplomacy envoy. Secretary Rice, along with Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Karen P. Hughes, made the announcement Nov. 9.

Gregory and Petukhov Hand Out Skate America Toys at Connecticut Children's Hospital
(11/8/06) - 2006 Skate America silver medalists Melissa Gregory & Denis Petukhov made a surprise visit Oct. 31 to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center (CCMC) to donate the stuffed animals thrown on the ice by fans at 2006 Skate America in Hartford, Conn.

Grand Prix Series Continues with Four U.S. Skaters at Trophée Eric Bompard in Paris, France, Nov. 16-19

(11/14/06) - The 2006 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series continues in Paris, France, Nov. 16-19, with Trophée Eric Bompard. Approximately 65 skaters from 16 countries will compete for points and prize money. Trophée Eric Bompard, which is taking place at the POPB ice rink, begins Friday with the compulsory dance.
