Five tips to sleep yourself thinner
Tomorrow's the big day!
An important job interview? A date with that special someone? Class reunion?
Whatever the occasion, you need to look your best. So, what can you do tonight
that will guarantee you look and feel renewed, refreshed and at your best?
Here are 5 simple tips that will help you "Sleep Yourself Thinner".
1) Stay away from salty foods six hours before going to bed. Salt will make
you retain water. None of your rings will fit, your clothes will be tight and
your face will look puffy.
2) Don't Cry! It doesn't matter if your nervous, anxious or stressed. Crying
will just make it worse. Your whole face will puff up (not attractive)!
3) Get a good solid nights sleep. Eight hours is the best. Your body (and mind)
will be rested. And, a rested body is a leaner body.
4) Eat a meal containing lean protein for dinner. Foods like egg whites, tuna
and chicken are great. Protein will not cause you to retain water.
Avoid white flour, it will make you like a sponge!
5) Take off your makeup! Going to bed with the days dirt, sweat and makeup will
cause redness, clogged pores, dehydrated skin and puffy eyes.
One Final Tip: When you get up in the morning, go ahead and enjoy a hot cup of
coffee! Caffeine is a mild diuretic and will actually help to flush out that
extra water weight.
Follow these simple tips and you'll feel and look thinner and be happier!
