High-Resolution Analysis of Tricyclic Antidepressants and Benzodiazepines Using Pursuit® XRs C18 Columns More than 80% of chemical analyses in the pharmaceutical industry are done using HPLC (high pressure liquid chromatography) columns. Analytical Research and Development (AR&D) laboratories in pharmaceutical companies are constantly challenged for time when developing robust analytical methods. Varian scientists have developed a family of HPLC columns, Pursuit XRs, for resolving complex and challenging samples in the pharmaceutical industry that will improve AR&D laboratory productivity. This article demonstrates the extended resolution capabilities of
Pursuit XRs C18 columns with a 14-component mixture of tricyclic antidepressants and benzodiazepines, and compares it to benchmarked C18 HPLC columns. Read more Send me more information |

Purification of RNA Oligonucleotides Using 96-Well TOP™ (Trityl-on Cartridge Purification) Plates Due to the increased hydrophilicity and pH instability of RNA oligonucleotides compared to DNA oligos, RNA oligonucleotide purification methods often require modification from standard DNA methods for optimum purity and yield results. In this application, purification of 2’-deprotected, 5’-DMT-on RNA oligonucleotides was examined using TOP 96-well oligonucleotide purification plates and on-column detritylation. The simple method, standard 96-well format, and gravity or vacuum purification option result in a high-throughput, high-purity
method for RNA oligonucleotide purification. Read more Send me more information |
