SUZI PERRY ON THE MOTOGP SEASON FINALE
Please bear with me while I get over-excited about the final MotoGP race of the season in Valencia on Sunday.
I feel a bit embarrassed as I've been going on about it to everyone I've spoken to this week - I'm like a kid in a sweet shop.
It's going to be sensational.
Defending champion Valentino Rossi leads Nicky Hayden by eight points going into the race after overhauling a massive 51-point deficit in the past six races.
It's the first time the championship has gone down to the wire for 13 years and this is not a race where you have to add any excitement to the mix, it's all there on a plate.
We've got two riders going head-to-head, both of them will be racing their hearts out, either one of them could do it and it will be motorsport at its finest.
Hayden's fire will be burning after he was dramatically knocked off his bike by his Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa in the last race in Portugal, costing him the championship lead.
It was absolutely horrendous for the American and I felt very emotional for him.
Valencia is not Rossi's favourite track, but I can't see that coming into the equation.
If he does win the championship after being so far behind it will be beyond reason and I think he should be voted BBC Overseas Sports Personality of the Year.
To come back from being so far back is truly unbelievable and there is no other rider that could have done it.
Whatever the outcome, it has been the best season of my lifetime.
It's been the most exciting to watch and every race has had something unique about it.
So anyone who knows anything about motorsport should be watching the action on BBC TWO and via the red button this weekend... enjoy!
