PS3 pre-orders sell out; lots instantly appear on eBay
 Gamestop opened the floodgates on PlayStation 3 pre-orders this week. Potential buyers were asked for a $100 deposit to be among the first people in the world to own the powerful system. Most stores only had eight pre-orders to sell, and many depicted scenes reminiscent of the 360's launch last year, with lines forming long before opening time. If you missed out, don't despair, as some canny pre-order purchasers immediately listed their consoles for resale on eBay. Expect to pay anything from $1,800 to $3,000!
