Hurricane Katrina, one year later
Habitat for Humanitys Operation Home Delivery is busy rebuilding lives. Despite the difficult circumstances emerging in the disaster-torn Gulf Coast region, Habitat is working alongside those most affected. One year after Katrina left her mark, we are hard at work from Thibodaux, La., to Mobile, Ala., to Hancock, Miss., and still on track to meet our Operation Home Delivery goals. Learn more about Habitats work in the Gulf Coast region, including how you can get involved.
Women building hope
Women have many chances to leave their mark on Habitat work sites. All-women crews across the country are picking up hammers and discovering what happens when they team up to build with deserving partner families. Look for Women Builds happening in your community, and start building!
