United 93
(M) 110 mins
A real-time account of the events on United Flight 93, one of the p***s hijacked on 9/11 that crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania when passengers foiled the terrorist plot. "United 93" recreates the doomed trip, from takeoff to hijacking to the realisation by those on board that their p*** was part of a coordinated attack unfolding on the ground below them. The film attempts to understand the abject fear and courageous decisions of those who - over the course of just 90 minutes - transformed from a random assembly of strangers into bonded allies who confronted an unthinkable situation.
