Plan on Jazzercise On Location Spring Break 2007!

A famous person once said, "Every child is born blessed with a vivid imagination.  But just as a muscle grows flabby with disuse, so the bright imagination of a child pales in later years if he ceases to exercise it."

Exactly!  So join us at Jazzercise On Location Spring Break in sunny Orlando, FL April 13-14, 2007.  We'll have plenty of exercise for both the body and imagination as we dance, shop, and play at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, Florida.  Choose from a variety of classes, including the Jazzercise Routine Taping, Street Jam, Latin Stretch, Jazzercise Unplugged, Hardcore Connection Workout, Pilates Playtime, and last but not least, Bump & Pump with Male Instructors! Register today and we'll see you at Walt Disney World® Resort for an unforgettable and magical event.

Technique Tips

Right Touch Together with Clasped Fingers Pulling Down to Right Hip

This movement begins with feet apart.  Next, bring the right foot next to the left with a touch.  As you are executing this move, bring your clasped hands overhead and then pull them down to the right hip.  You will then reverse the movement to the left side.  You want to use your abdominals and obliques as you pull the arms down toward your hip.  Make sure that the torso rotates toward the hip by your hands.

Reverse Bicep Curl

This movement begins with arms down by sides, palms facing back and holding weights.  Next, curl arms up in front keeping the elbows by your side so that hands come near your shoulders with the palms facing front.  Although this motion is coming from the elbow, the major stabilization must occur at the shoulder joint.  Keep the chest high and shoulders back during this exercise.

The Chronic Fatigue Rx: Exercise

Source: San Diego Union Tribune

Exercise, not rest, may be the best medicine for the 500,000 Americans with chronic fatigue.  An Auckland University study had a group of people with the disease walk for 30 minutes, five days a week, while another group got counseling.  After 12 weeks, the exercisers said walking was better than anything they'd tried before. Only 24 percent of the other group improved.
