PARTNER ANNOUNCEMENTS

KLCS-TV -- The Education Station -- is a multiple Emmy® Award winning PBS television station licensed to the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). In 1988 it instituted the The Video in the Classroom (VIC) Awards, to recognize and stimulate interest in the use of video production technology as a teaching tool. Teachers and students in grades Pre-K through Adult School are encouraged to use video production technology as a natural outgrowth of the curriculum. To honor those outstanding teachers and students of the LAUSD, a gala VIC Awards Ceremony is held each year in June, and is broadcast on KLCS several times throughout the year.
