KING LEAR opens July 7

KING LEAR is one of Shakespeare's most challenging and rewarding plays. We are thrilling to the experience of making the journey into this masterpiece with veteran actor and dramaturg Barry Kraft. We can't wait to share our production with you. Each costume fitting, each bit of set painted, each sound cue composed, each weapon chosen and fight choreographed, brings us closer to opening night. Alice in WonderlandALICE IN WONDERLAND

You won't want to miss our original adaptation of Lewis Carroll's fantasy adventure, starring many Marin Shakespeare Company favorites. Darren Bridgett is the Mad Hatter, Jack Powell is the White Rabbit, Mary Knoll is the Queen of Hearts, George Maguire is the hookah-smoking Caterpillar. These are just a few of the many treats in store. And we are delighted to introduce Hannah Rose Kornfeld as Alice. Sunday, July 16 is Family Day when youth ages 18 and under attend for free. The Comedy of ErrorsENRICHMENT CLASSES

Both Dominican University's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and the College of Marin have announced enrichment classes related to the summer productions. The Dominican class focuses on KING LEAR with sessions led by Director Robert Currier and actors Matt Henerson and Barry Kraft. College of Marin offers two classes, one on KING LEAR led by comparative literature instructor Margo Hall and one on THE COMEDY OF ERRORS led by James Dunn, who directs the Marin Shakespeare production which plays September 1 - 24.
