 Top Picks - Home Theater-In-A-Box - Top Picks  from your Home Theater Guide
Interested in setting up a home theater, but don't want to have to remodel your living room or deplete your finances to do it? 1) Kenwood HTB-707DV Home Theater-In-A-Box
If you are looking for a full-featured all-in-one home theater system, you might consider the Kenwood HTB-707DV. This package features a progressive scan CD/DVD player with DVD-R/-RW/+R/+RW, MP3, and JPEG photo CD compatibility, a 6.1 channel Dolby Digital/DTS/Prologic IIx equipped AV receiver that delivers 100WPC, a 100watt 6 1/2-inch subwoofer, and all needed satellite speakers. In addition, the components come in an attractive silver color, rather than standard black.

2) Onkyo HT-S787C Home Theater-In-A-Box
With 110x6WPC and 230-watt powered subwoofer, the Onkyo HT-S7780 7.1 channel HTIB has enough power for most needs. The Receiver/Amp section also includes Dolby Digital EX/DTS-ES/Pro Logic IIx decoding. The 787C also includes a 6-disc carousel DVD/CD changer with DVD-R/RW and CD-MP3/WMA playback compatibility as well as progressive scan video output for optimum image quality. If you are looking for an all-in-one system with good performance, check out the Onkyo HT-787C.

3) Panasonic SC-HT730 Home Theater-In-A-Box
The Panasonic SC-HT730 is budget-priced home theater system that includes not only a fully equipped Dolby Digital/DTS AV receiver with powered subwoofer, but also includes a 5-Disc DVD/CD changer with DVD-Audio, DVD-Video, DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD/CD-R/RW, MP3/WMA, JPEG, and HDCD compatibility. The DVD player also has a progressive scan video output. Overall, this is a great budget-priced home theater system for the novice; easy to set-up and use.
